Looking for function room hire in Preston? Discover The Boathouse’s new private event space near Avenham Park, with food, drinks, a stage and exclusive hire.

PRIVATE HIRE

A space for something special.

A warm, characterful private event space is taking shape at The Boathouse by the Ribble.

Our outdoor area is being transformed into a fully covered, glass-walled space with a wood burner and its own stage – creating somewhere relaxed, intimate and a little different for small gatherings and special occasions.

Once complete, the space will be available for exclusive private hire.

OCCASIONS

Private hire @ The Boathouse.

Whether you’re planning a birthday, baby shower, family gathering, small celebration, private meal, business get-together or something entirely your own, our new space is being designed to feel welcoming rather than formal.

Think plenty of natural light, a cosy wood burner, good food, drinks from the bar and a stage ready for live performances, speeches or entertainment.

When you hire the space, it will be yours exclusively for the event.

CATERING

Food, drink & great company.

Food and drink will be provided by The Boathouse, with options built around the same relaxed, generous style as the café.

There’ll be plenty of choice for informal gatherings, sharing food and drinks, alongside wine, beer, spirits and cocktails.

We’re currently finalising the details, so menus, packages and capacities will be confirmed closer to launch.

THE VIBE

Function room hire in Preston, without the traditional feel.

If you’re searching for function room hire in Preston but want somewhere with a little more personality, The Boathouse offers a more relaxed alternative.

Set on Riverside, Broadgate, beside Avenham Park and close to the River Ribble, our private hire space will combine the warmth of the café with the flexibility of a dedicated event venue.

No bland conference-room atmosphere. No generic hotel suite. Just a cosy, informal space with its own character.

SPEECHES & PERFORMANCE

A stage for whatever you have planned.

The space will also include its own stage, making it suitable for:

Live music
Acoustic sets
Speeches
Presentations
Small performances
Private celebrations

That makes it flexible enough for everything from a quiet family occasion to something a little livelier.

Private hire coming soon @ The Boathouse

The new private hire space is currently under development and is expected to be ready in the coming months.

We’re not taking formal bookings just yet, but if you’re planning an event and would like to be among the first to hear when dates become available, we’d love to hear from you.
